Homicide detective Jessica Niemi seeks solace on a small island in the Åland archipelago after a violent incident leads to her paid leave. There, she encounters the Doves, survivors of a WWII-era orphanage, and learns of a haunting local legend about a girl in a blue coat who vanished. As mysterious deaths occur among the Doves, Jessica grapples with the possibility of a killer or a ghostly presence. Amid her personal struggles, she races against time to uncover the truth and prevent becoming the next victim.
