Set in 1964, the story follows Jaggi, part of a group of 128 Indians traveling from Bombay to Britain. Upon arrival in London, they disperse to pursue their individual paths. While most settle in the economically thriving South, Jaggi's journey leads him unexpectedly to the North, exploring themes of fate and the immigrant experience in a changing society.
