Something Wilder

Meer over het boek

Growing up as the daughter of notorious treasure hunter Duke Wilder, Lily has little patience for the profession or her absentee father. Resourceful and determined, she now uses Duke’s hand-drawn maps to guide tourists on fake treasure hunts through Utah's red rock canyons. While it pays the bills, it doesn’t help her achieve her dream of buying back the ranch her father sold, nor does it prepare her for the return of Leo Grady, the man she once loved, who arrives with a quirky group ready for adventure. Lily wishes she could leave him behind in the wilderness. Leo, eager to move on from his past, hopes to reconnect with his first love, but Lily is all business and makes it clear that rekindling their romance is off the table. However, when their trip takes a disastrous turn, the group begins to wonder if the legend of hidden treasure might be real. This unexpected twist offers them a chance to amend the wrongs of Duke’s past and their own, but it requires Leo and Lily to confront their shared history and work together. Under the stars in the remote Canyonlands, they must decide if they are willing to risk their lives and hearts for the treasure hunt of a lifetime.
