His internal conflict grows as darkness encroaches upon him. Meanwhile, Egwene al'Vere, the Amyrlin Seat of the rebel Aes Sedai, faces her own challenges as a captive of the White Tower. With an imminent Seanchan attack, she strives to unify the Aes Sedai factions and lead them through despair and uncertainty. Her leadership will determine the fate of the White Tower and potentially the world itself. TV series update: Sony, along with Red Eagle Entertainment and Radar Pictures, is producing, with Rafe Judkins attached as writer and executive producer.
