The next part of the tale follows a young Tibetan monk who encounters remnants of an extraterrestrial civilization in a high-altitude cave. Young Lobsang, accompanied by his teacher, visits a hermit in the mountains. During a landslide, they find themselves in an extensive complex of high-altitude caves, where they discover well-preserved remnants of alien visits that have been hidden for thousands of years. During their forced stay in the cave, both monks become acquainted with advanced alien technology and medicine, learning from their records and projections about the past and future of the Earth and the entire universe.
