Human life is made up of a sequence of decisions. Man is thus confronted with the inevitable question of just behaviour. Ethics searches a reasonable answer as well as an explanatory method. Criterion for just behaviour is Man being an end in itself. Acting is responsible if it is based upon a justified demand of the concerned for their happiness and the required goods and rights. Judging behaviour solely by its consequences doesn? t take mankind? s end in itself into account.
