The Schweiz Plaisir Ost guidebook details rock and sport climbing in the Eastern Swiss Alps, covering grades up to F6c. It spans from Luzern in central Switzerland to Pfaffikon and Chur in the east, with some crags in western Austria. Notable crags include those around Grimsel, Andermatt, Altdorf, Sustenpass, Engelberg, Sargans, and Appenzell. The guide features 75 crags organized into six areas: Susten - Furka - Oberalp, Obwalden - Schwyz - Klausen, Glarus - Weesen - Sargans, Montafon - Graubunden, Alpstein - Bregenz, and Ötztal. Routes vary from single pitch sport climbs to extensive alpine multi-pitch routes, some hundreds of meters long. Each crag provides detailed information on required equipment, including specifics for single pitch and multi-pitch routes. At the beginning of each area, there are location maps and useful details like altitude, sun exposure, and climbing styles. The crag topos are clear, with routes graded in French. Published in May 2015, the guidebook is available in English, German, French, and Italian, with a total of 372 pages and dimensions of 120mm x 185mm.
