After four years of dedicated work, the second edition is now available, boasting over double the number of photos and improved quality due to a larger format. Aimed at both beginner and advanced collectors, it serves as a reference for prices and distinctions among various items, excluding fantasy pieces and unrealized orders. The guide is organized into contemporary topics, each consecutively numbered along with specific subjects and individual orders. Each item is described by its characteristics, types, and additional comments from the author, indicating the availability of miniatures and the rarity of certain pieces. Valuations are based on average pieces, influenced by condition, material, quality, and rarity, with prices varying by regional and international demand. An LP (Liebhaberpreis) indicates rare items whose prices cannot be easily determined. The guide includes only a fraction of existing award documents due to stylistic variances and other criteria. Miniatures are selected based on authenticity, as they are less commonly collected. Cases and packets are described and priced where possible. The author provides brief background information, and the book is fully bilingual in German and English.
