Winnie-the-Pooh has a certain Way about him of doing things which has made him the world's most beloved bear. And Pooh's Way, as Benjamin Hoff brilliantly demonstrates, seems strangely close to the ancient principles of Taoist philosophy. As for the hesitant Piglet, he exhibits a very important principle of Taoism: the Te - a Chinese word meaning Virtue - of the Small.
