Maimonides

    30 maart 1138 – 13 december 1204

Focused on guiding thinkers who grapple with the intersection of philosophy and religion, this work addresses those perplexed by ambiguous religious texts. Written for Joseph, a disciple of Maimonides, it aims to clarify esoteric ideas in the Prophets, explore metaphysical issues, and analyze the principles of Kalām, or Mohammedan Theology. Maimonides responds to his disciple's request for deeper understanding, structuring the treatise to provide comprehensive insights into these complex themes.
