Forschungseinrichtungen in der Agglomeration Wien

For the first time, an examination has been made of the significance of the research facilities in the Vienna region within the region’s innovatory process. 650 scientific, technical, human medicine, commercial and social science research institutions were questioned on their innovation-focused cooperation with manufacturing enterprises and other research institutions – and also businesses. Thanks to their size structure, their focus on research topics and their good inclusion in innovatory networks, the research facilities located within the Vienna region enjoy good conditions for active participation in the innovation process.
