Since its reopening in 2003, "The Albertina" offers an in-depth exploration of the architectural history of the palace and the development of the historic state rooms of the Habsburgs, which have only recently been restored and made accessible to the public. Through over 400 images, the book presents the Albertina not only as one of the most significant museums in the world but also as the largest Habsburg residential palace in the heart of the former capital and residence city of Vienna.
