This is a brutally comic portrait of marriage, taken to extremes reminiscent of the work of Samuel Becket and Thomas Bernhard. It tells how Edwin Mortens, who is almost blind and paralyzed from the waist down, dedicates his days to chewing gum and screaming at his wife.
