On the planet Boldly, a race faces imminent extinction, prompting their leader and a scientist to experiment with DNA from various species to create a new life form. Their initial creation is deemed unacceptable, leading to the realization that they need a female for reproduction. With all local females infertile, the scientist proposes a daring solution: to build a ship and venture to other worlds in search of fertile females.
