His investigation begins when an Italian Prisoner of War is murdered amid the turmoil of the Port Chicago Mutiny verdicts, with black soldiers implicated in the crime. Tasked by the Army to uncover the truth, Oliver must navigate the complexities of race, justice, and his own fears as he seeks to resolve the case.
