State of Tourism Security in Pokhara Valley

Focusing on the security challenges faced by the tourism industry in Pokhara Valley, this research identifies gaps in the current security management system. Despite the area's growth as a tourist destination, issues such as theft, robbery, and natural disasters persist. The study highlights the lack of advanced policing, inadequate infrastructure, and a poor understanding of tourism among the local community. Additionally, rising unemployment contributes to criminal activities, emphasizing the need for improved security measures to support the growing tourism sector.
