Firefly

A thirteen-year-old girl escapes an abusive home, choosing homelessness over living with her mother. When she is sent to live with her aunt, she finds solace in the aunt's costume shop, which becomes a space for self-discovery and understanding the meaning of family. Through her journey, she learns to embrace her identity and the concept of belonging.
