Kniha Fernanda a Gioii Lanziových se zaměřuje na svaté v tradiciřímskokatolické církve. Bohatě ilustrovaná kniha přináší portréty více než sto padesáti postav, přičemž vedle jejich života, kultu a zázraků s nimi spojených je pozornost věnována ikonografii. Überall auf der Welt gibt es heilige Orte, die Gläubige von weit her anziehen. Manche von ihnen sind kanonisiert, andere gelten nur „inoffiziell“ als heilige Orte.
