Albert Uderzo was een legendarische Franse striptekenaar en scenarioschrijver. Hij is vooral bekend als medeoprichter en illustrator van de Asterix-reeks, die hij creëerde in samenwerking met René Goscinny. Zijn kenmerkende artistieke stijl en komische timing brachten een van de meest geliefde stripfiguren ter wereld tot leven.
