The inscriptions of the ancient kingdom of Campa, which spanned Central and parts of South Vietnam, have been published and translated since the late 19th century, primarily by French scholars such as Abel Bergaigne and Etienne Aymonier. Their work was continued by Louis Finot, Edouard Huber, and George Coedes, with early publications appearing in the Journal Asiatique and later in the Bulletin de l'Ecole Francaise d'Extrème-Orient. Claude Jacques partially re-published these in 1995, excluding Bergaigne's work. In 1927, Ramesh Chandra Majumdar re-published most Sanskrit inscriptions with English translations, including some Cham inscriptions. This current work presents a Romanized version of nearly all the texts (Sanskrit and Cham) along with English translations, primarily adapted from Majumdar's work with minor corrections. New translations have been created based on the French versions, and conjectural completions were made for damaged texts. Each inscription includes its date, C-number, location coordinates, reference literature, and, for Sanskrit inscriptions, the original text in epigraphic Sanskrit alongside a Standard Sanskrit version. The inscriptions conclude with translations, and a list of the kings of Campa with tentative dates is provided for orientation.
