This volume celebrates the seventy-fifth birthday of William M. Calder III, W. A. Oldfather Professor of the Classics at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, featuring thirty-five scholarly contributions from friends and students. The diverse range of topics reflects Calder's significant influence on the field of classics over more than forty years.
