Richard Dixon struggles up from a sea of pain, waking up to "a nauseating smell of rotten flesh," not having a clue who he is or why he has been shackled to his hospital bed. He is told by a nurse that he has been shot in the head by the police during a shootout. He is told that he is accused of murdering his own wife and daughter. The only ray of hope in the depths of his despair is the caring presence of a pretty nurse Amelia, and the investigation of Detective Mills to prove his innocence and to uncover the conspiracy to frame him by an unscrupulous and murdering gangster. Richard's whole life is shattered. Can the lovely Amelia, who looks so much like his dead wife, save him and can their love be the way out of this nightmare?
