(Re)writing love in postmodern times

For over 40 years, Modern Hebrew Literature has helped English speakers keep abreast of Israel's hyper-active literary scene. Now published by The Toby Press and edited by the Institute for the Translation of Hebrew Literature, each issue will include translations of excerpts from forthcoming new novels and short stories, articles on a variety of literary topics, interviews with authors, and a selection of poetry and reviews of books recently published in Hebrew. This second issue of the new series, Love, brings excerpts of new works by popular and prize winning Israeli authors, including Etgar Keret, Alona Kimchi and many others.
