The route formed part of the first line between London and Cambridge, but the section through Temple Mills and Lea Bridge eventually lost most of its passenger traffic. This part became an important freight artery and this is fully illustrated, along with the changing scenes along the northern tracks. Includes 120 photographs, large scale maps, and other details of local history.
