George Rountree's second book for Stenlake on Pollokshaws features an entirely new collection of pictures, accompanied by the author's trademark detailed captions. The Round Toll, Old Coach Inn, Wellgreen, Cross Street, Harriet Street, Shawbridge Street, King Street, Royal George building, old Shaws Bridge, Lilybank Place, Kirk Lane, Townshouse, Old Stag Inn and Riverford Road are some of the locations featured, while there are also photos of a birthday celebration in the grounds of Pollok House, Pollokshaws Bowling Club, staff at the Victoria Pottery and pupils at St Conval's Primary School.
