A diverse group of passengers aboard an ocean liner discovers they are dead and en route to Judgment Day. Among them, a disillusioned young man grapples with fear, while the arrogant Mrs. Cliveden Banks seeks special treatment. An elderly Cockney woman remains unfazed, continuing her knitting. The most terrified are a young couple who took their own lives. Their fates are evaluated by an Examiner, who approaches their situations with a blend of whimsy and insight, highlighting themes of faith, judgment, and the human condition.
