Bingo is a dark tale about life on a 1970s inner city council estate in South East London. Join Jason, (Jabba), as he returns to his childhood in a bid to find out the truth behind his best friend's life. The story touches on the many complex issues faced during this period of time, including unemployment, drugs, crime, and the many forms of child abuse, which at the time, was often swept under the carpet. Simon Palmer, author of the aclaimed personal memoir, Losing the Hate, together with Claudia B. Modie, (author of the Hybrid series), wanted to broach the many, and often taboo subjects of the era in fiction form.
