Ashley Winston, a former beauty queen with a knack for escapism, must confront her past when a family tragedy brings her back to her small Tennessee hometown. With six bearded brothers and a loathsome father, she had left it all behind, immersing herself in books and knitting. However, her return introduces her to Drew Runous, the charming local Game Warden whose philosophical musings and unexpected support challenge her desire to escape.
