In a world teetering on the edge of war, Severo, a recent graduate, immerses himself in the HOPE engine, a virtual reality game. However, he soon discovers a dangerous glitch-like enemy threatening players and his starter village. As he navigates this digital landscape, he learns the importance of friendships, sentient NPCs, and the harsh realities of fantasy game food. Meanwhile, his real life outside the VR pod begins to unravel, adding to the challenges he must face both in-game and in reality.
