Exiles from the Moor

The story follows eleven-year-old Jess, a horse enthusiast deeply connected to her Exmoor pony, Marmalade. After her father's death, Jess and her mother, Pam, move from their cherished moorland home to a restrictive rural Surrey. Despite the challenges of their new life, Jess finds solace in her bond with Marmalade, navigating her grief and longing for freedom in a new environment.
