Lord Jim

Set against the backdrop of a perilous sea journey, the story follows Jim, a young man whose dreams of adventure collide with harsh reality when he serves on the Patna. As the ship carries Muslim pilgrims to Mecca, disaster strikes when the vessel sustains damage and faces the threat of sinking. With a storm looming, the crew makes the shocking decision to abandon both the ship and its passengers, forcing Jim to confront his fantasies of heroism in the face of true danger.
