In response to the racist violence in Charlottesville, artist Paula Billups embarked on a project to create 30 paintings in 30 days, donating all proceeds to the Southern Poverty Law Center. Upon completion, 28 paintings were sold, raising over $1,300 for the SPLC. This book showcases all 30 artworks, with profits from its sale also dedicated to supporting the SPLC. The project highlights the intersection of art and activism, emphasizing the importance of community response to social issues.
