In response to the government's family separation policies in 2018, artist Paula Billups created a series of 30 paintings in 30 days, selling them to support the Texas Civil Rights Project. This compilation showcases her artwork, with all profits from the book's sales also benefiting the TCRP, which aids refugees with legal assistance. Billups undertook this project independently, highlighting her commitment to advocating for disenfranchised individuals through art.
