This is a book of prose and poetry. The poems and prose are reflections of an African immigrant to Canada, who finds winter weather unbearable. He has to learn to cope with the harsh winter: live indoors for months, deal with long hours of darkness, deal with isolation from relatives in Africa and deal with depression caused by absence of sunshine.
