Created in a studio that looks more like a laboratory than a typical artist's atelier, Lee's scientific work was chosen for the Korean Pavilion at the Venice Biennale. This illustrated, catalogue presents two important series; The Objectuals' where the artist through the use of lenses and other materials changes both his appearance and his perception of the world. And his Homo Animatus' works, which blend cartoon figures with skeletons and Latin zoological names.
