The text features poignant, almost expressionistic descriptions of the environment alongside humorous, candid portrayals of individuals. With a blend of ironic distance and passionate engagement, Wobern presents a collage of snapshots from administrative life that create a vivid and original picture. Comprising letters and diary-like entries, the work does not aim for detailed or objective accuracy but instead captures personal impressions from a year of professional experience.
