Auszug2015 begann meine Reise mit James Francis Gill, jenem Amerikaner, der die heute so verehrte Pop Art mitbegründete in den 1960er-Jahren. 2016 konnte in Fulda die erste Ausstellung mit zahlreichen Gemälden und Gra- fiken gezeigt werden. Diese Ausstellung wurde zu einem großen Erfolg und James gewann viele Freunde in Fulda. Weitere Ausstellungen folgten 2017 und 2018 und durch die permanente Präsentation in unserer Galerie wuchs der Freundes- und Sammlerkreis erheblich. Nun kehrt die Legende zurück nach Fulda. Mit neuen farbgewaltigen Arbeiten, mit beeindruckenden Sammlereditionen, aber auch mit unfassbaren Zeitdokumenten, mit Wegsteinen seiner langen, erfolgreichen Karriere. Daher lautet der Titel der Ausstellung zu Recht „James Francis Gill – THE RETURN OF A LEGEND“. Es ist mir eine Ehre, Ihnen allen diesen herausragenden Künstler unserer Zeit zu präsentieren.
