The World Through Your Eyes is not only a journey of self-discovery, but it also the story of three different types of love, which most people encounter during their lifetime and therefore, can relate to. The book is divided into three parts, which also correspond to the three most important male characters in the narrator's life. The first part talks about the romance of first love, an idealised feeling which appears so deep and unconditional that no obstacle seems too big to overcome. The second part revolves around the allure of toxic love, an ephemeral illusion which is all the more attractive in light of its elusive nature and as such, is able to awaken a human being's most intimate and visceral impulses and desires. The third and final part tells about a more mature kind of love, which may not be as exciting and overwhelming as the previous one, but it is much more real and has the power to heal wounds so deep that one did not even know they existed.
