Innovative fabrication techniques for bio-inspired hierarchical micro- and nanostructures are explored, showcasing their remarkable potential. Notably, a synthetic gecko-like adhesive is developed, closely mimicking the adhesion and self-cleaning properties of real geckos. Additionally, a unique nanofur is created, exhibiting superhydrophobic and superoleophilic characteristics, along with the ability to retain air underwater and self-heal when treated, highlighting advancements in materials science inspired by nature.
