Pascal Girard, geboren in Jonquière in 1981, ontwikkelde al op jonge leeftijd de gewoonte om de marges van zijn notitieboekjes met tekeningen te vullen. Deze passie leidde hem vanzelf naar een carrière als kunstenaar na zijn afronding van een interdisciplinaire kunststudie. Gevestigd in Quebec City, heeft hij een dubbele carrière als illustrator en stripauteur. Zijn vroege werken werden in 2006 bekroond op het Festival de la bande dessinée francophone de Québec.
