The study focuses on the structural, morphological, optical, and electrical properties of porous PbS-silicon and Al2O3-silicon nanocomposites, highlighting their potential applications in photovoltaics. Additionally, it explores the enhancement of titanium dioxide nanotubes through the decoration with PbS and Ag nanoparticles, specifically for their effectiveness in photocatalysis, including the degradation of Escherichia coli bacteria and organic pollutants.

This book presents co-sputtered processes ways to produce chrome doped TiO2 thin films onto various substrates such as quartz, silicon and porous silicon.
