Meichi creëert de webcomic-serie Barely Functional Adult, die ze in 2015 begon. Vanuit haar huis in Vancouver, British Columbia, maakt ze strips en vertelt ze onzinnige verhalen. Haar eerste boek, Barely Functional Adult: It'll All Make Sense Eventually, staat vol met compromitterende korte verhalen en werd in november 2020 uitgebracht. Ze spreekt enige bezorgdheid uit over de release.
