Focusing on the influence of economic conditions and education, this research challenges the traditional belief in Nepal that caste is the primary determinant of political representation. Through field-based research conducted in Shivgunj Village Development Committee, the study reveals that individuals' socioeconomic status plays a more significant role in their political engagement than their caste background, offering a fresh perspective on representation in Nepalese politics.
