The study focuses on the evaluation of clinical supervision for student midwives in Kaya, Burkina Faso, amid rising enrollment and inadequate training opportunities. It reveals significant shortcomings in internship organization and supervision processes, despite supervisors' motivation. The findings highlight the urgent need for improved oversight to enhance the quality of care and address the critical issues contributing to high maternal and infant mortality rates in the region.

Este estudio evalúa la supervisión clínica de los estudiantes de matronas en Kaya, Burkina Faso. A medida que aumenta el número de estudiantes, las prácticas clínicas se ven insuficientes, lo que deteriora la calidad de atención y eleva la mortalidad materno-infantil.
