The study identifies station-IV as slightly polluted due to agricultural runoff and domestic waste, leading to contamination from encroachment. In contrast, other stations remain within permissible limits for physico-chemical parameters. Significant relationships among various parameters were noted, with some showing statistical significance. Notably, plankton density indicates pollution at station-IV, while water from the other stations is deemed suitable for agricultural and domestic use, provided appropriate measures are taken to restore the lake's health.
