The study focuses on the analysis of biopellets produced from peanut and hazelnut shells, evaluating their higher heating values (HHV) and lower heating values (LHV) in accordance with ISO standards. The results show that peanut shell pellets have HHV values ranging from 18.05 to 21.01 MJ/kg, while hazelnut shell pellets range from 17.92 to 20.59 MJ/kg. Both types of biopellets meet the EN 14918 standard for biomass. Additionally, the ash content of hazelnut shell pellets was measured, confirming low percentages in dry bases.
