The study investigates the effectiveness of a combined treatment involving auriculotherapy with caldo santo seeds alongside conventional methods for managing arterial hypertension in 45 patients aged 16 to 60. By evaluating clinical evolution and hypertension levels over time, the research found that 93.3% of participants experienced a reduction in their hypertension, with most achieving control after three treatment cycles. Individual clinical histories were reviewed to gather data on treatment responses, highlighting the potential benefits of this integrated approach.

Se realizó un estudio cuasi experimental en el Policlínico Yaguajay para evaluar un tratamiento combinado de auriculoterapia y tratamiento convencional en 45 pacientes con hipertensión arterial. Los resultados mostraron que el 93.3% de los pacientes lograron disminuir su hipertensión, especialmente después del tercer ciclo de tratamiento.
