Exploring the pervasive issue of child labour in Iran, this research identifies over 57 economic sectors where children work, focusing on Tehran and Karaj. It highlights the causes and risks associated with early labour, particularly during the economic challenges exacerbated by the Covid-19 pandemic. The study involved over 300 interviews with children, parents, and employers, alongside 150 hours of observation. Previously published in Farsi and Kurdish, the findings have also contributed to various academic articles.

Conducted over a decade, it emphasizes the impact of training interventions on reducing circumcision rates among women. Despite the challenges posed by traditional societal norms, evidence suggests that targeted pilot programs can effectively diminish this harmful practice. The research underscores the importance of community engagement in addressing deeply rooted customs.

The study delves into the prevalence of Female Genital Mutilation/Cutting (FGM/C) in specific Iranian provinces, highlighting its roots in cultural beliefs and societal norms that infringe on women's sexual rights. By offering in-depth data, it aims to combat FGM and elevate the issue globally, challenging the misconception that FGM is exclusive to Africa. Additionally, the research addresses Male Circumcision/Male Genital Mutilation (MGM/C) in Iran. The findings will soon be available in Farsi, Kurdish, and English, expanding accessibility and awareness.

Exploring the complexities of sigheh, or temporary marriage, within Iranian society reveals significant legal and religious ambiguities that contribute to serious social issues, including child marriage and women's rights violations. The current legal framework treats permanent and temporary marriages similarly, ignoring their distinct nature. This oversight exacerbates the vulnerabilities faced by women and girls. Advocating for a revision of laws regarding sigheh, tailored to Iran's social context, offers a potential pathway to mitigate these detrimental effects.
