Problems Facing Sudanese Students Writing in English
How do cultures influence the writings of ESL/EFL Students?

Focusing on the writing challenges faced by Sudanese EFL students, this study employs the contrastive rhetoric approach to examine the linguistic and cultural influences on their English writing. Utilizing a descriptive analytic method, data was gathered from questionnaires and student essays, involving 100 teachers and 90 students from various Sudanese universities. The analysis revealed significant issues, including a tendency among students to exhibit unnecessary repetition in their writing, highlighting key areas for improvement in their language skills.
