They gradually release essential nutrients like nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium, improving soil health and supporting beneficial microorganisms. This approach offers a therapeutic alternative to chemical fertilizers, which can deplete soil quality. Additionally, market gardening utilizing recycled waste can provide economic benefits, highlighting the importance of responsible waste management.

Focusing on the economic role of women in the Democratic Republic of Congo, this research highlights the contributions of Pygmy women from the Babila Bakwanza Group to household finances. It aims to identify their primary and secondary income sources, analyze how these relate to family expenses, and explore the savings generated from this income. Additionally, the study investigates the constraints impacting these savings and assesses the overall satisfaction of households based on the income provided by these women.
